We Are Locally Crafted Food Serving Since 29th Dec, 2017.

It was way back in college days when two school friends Shivendra and Akash first thought of Samocha (combining two words Chai and Samosa) after facing difficulties in finding fresh and hygienic Chai and snacks when going out of our homes. Time went on and the problem kept moving with it. We finally decided to do something for the better. With little research about tea and it’s varieties, a bit of research on the hospitality sector and after visiting few tea estates in the Darjeeling region, we finally left our corporate jobs in August 2017 to work on a mission of delivering fresh and hygienic Chai and snacks to the society. The hustle kept on (and it still continues) and we opened our first tea room in Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur for the public on 29Th of Dec, 2017. Since then, Samocha has been helping customers create happy stories around chai (you can read sticky notes on our “stories around chai” wall to understand it better). Within a span of a year, we opened our 2nd tea room near IIT campus gate Kanpur, the 3rd store at Yum Street in Kanpur and a franchised store in Rishikesh. Our cafes help people socialize over a great cup of tea and we want to take this to all over the world. Come enjoy happy conversations over a freshly brewed great cup of tea and tasty snacks.
